May we suggest that you visit

The bric-a-brac (brocante) market at l'Isle sur Sorgue

And continue your day by visiting:

The  Plateau de Vaucluse: Isle sur Sorgue, or "the Venice of Comtat", is the second town after Paris dating from Antiquity. Paddle-type wheels from the old silk and wool production can be still be seen. A small road, shaded by plane trees, will lead you to the Fontaine de Vaucluse, made famous by the poet ¨Petrarch and by Mistral. It is mysterious emerald river. The departement of the Vaucluse has inherited the name of this "Vallis Clausa" (monastic valley) housing inter alia a Romanesque church but also the bishops' chateau at Cavaillon, la Cristellerie des Papes, and le Moulin à Papier. Continue via Gordes and its "bories" (stone shelters, typically Provencal) and its stone houses clinging to the rock-sides. Nearby, l'Abbaye de Sénanque is a fine example of 12th Century Cistercian art; it is indeed considered as one of the most beautiful in Provence .
